The 7th grade students at Mac Public School went on a field trip to Agapastala Farm. There were 104 students in the 7th grade, and they were divided into equal groups to ride on 4 buses to the farm. When they got to the farm, all the 7th graders were divided equally into 8 groups. The first group started their tour at 9:00 a.m., followed by the subsequent groups every 10 minutes.

First, the students went to the barn. They met Mr Kuruk Kshetri, the caretaker. There were 20 buffaloes in the barn, and half of them had calves with them. Then, the students went to the donkey barn. Mr Kuruk had 2 donkeys in the barn, Burpy and Bubbly.

Next, the students took turns gathering eggs from the hens. Three boys threw eggs at each other, so they had to be removed from the group. Each group then went to the stable to look at the horses. Mr Kuruk let students measure the height of each horse. Bolt was 72 inches tall and Rambo was 68 inches tall. Quicksilver was 54 inches tall. Mr Kuruk was proud to show the students his 36 goats. When Mr Kuruk opened the gate to the goat pen, a quarter of them escaped! After all the goats were put back in the pen, it was time for the students to return to school. They all got back on the buses at 1:15 p.m. to return to school.

The next day, the class voted for their favourite farm animal. Thirty-seven students liked horses the most and 29 liked donkeys. Five students liked hens the most, while 11 liked goats. The rest of the students said the buffalo was their favourite animal. All the students agreed that it was the most exciting field trip they had ever been on!
