Monty was planning a birthday feast, and was trying to decide how much food to order. He invited 24 people to the party. Only ¾ of them were able to come. Monty wanted each guest to be able to eat 2 slices of pizza. He called Pizza Plaza and found out that a large pizza has 10 slices, a medium pizza has 8 slices, and a small pizza has 6 slices. The small pizza cost ₹ 50, the medium pizza cost ₹ 70, and a large pizza was for ₹ 90. Monty decided to order large pizzas for his party.

Monty’s party began at 5:00 p.m. The last guest finally arrived at 6:10 p.m. They ate pizza, and then Monty opened his gifts. The tallest gift was a 90 cm TV from his parents. The shortest gift was a radio control car, which was 8 cm tall. After Monty finished opening the gifts, everyone went outside and played basketball. Monty’s team scored 17 points, but Rohan’s team scored 11 points more.

Finally, it was time for cake and cookies! Monty’s mother had baked two dozen chocolate chip cookies, a dozen sugar cookies and a dozen peanut butter cookies for the guests. Everyone had a great time at Monty’s party, and he had a very happy birthday!
